Set on the coast of Polbain overlooking the sea, Summer Isles and Minch, Gables Holiday Cottage Wester Ross is a stunning location in a wonderful environment. The Coigach Peninsula has been lived and worked for thousands of years - there are settlements here from Pictish and Viking influences, and there has been a crofting community working the land for generations. Our own family have been part of the community for many generations and we live and work here still today. Part of our work is offering visitors accommodation for them to come and share our lovely home and community and we take pride in providing a good quality and friendly service and reception that will make you want to return year after year. Rooms can be made up as twin single beds or one superking bed. The cottage is very cosy, with central heating and an open fire to enjoy. The views out to the Summer Isles and Torridon mountains are wonderful, or relax in the hammock in the large enclosed garden.

Gables Holiday Cottage, Wester Ross sits on its own perched on the hillside at Polbain overlooking the Summer Isles. Beautiful views can be enjoyed from every window.
There is space to park two cars at the rear of the property.
The cottage is very cosy, with oil fired central heating as well as a gorgeous open fire. All fuel, including coal and logs for the fire, are included in your cottage rental price.
Pets are very welcome but must be supervised at all times as there are often livestock in adjacent crofts.
A grocery order can be delivered to await your arrival. (please contact Achiltibuie Stores to place an order).
A travel cot and high chair are available on request, and babysitting can be arranged.
So you can listen to your favourite tunes.
The cottage has a Smart TV so you can catch up on all your favourites and enjoy cosy days or nights on the sofa.
Breathtaking westerly views over the sea to the Summer Isles (binoculars provided).
Easterly views across the Summer Isles to the Torridon mountains (binoculars provided).
Mobile reception can be patchy depending on your network, perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet! We find Whatsapp or wifi enabled calls are a good alternative if you wish to stay connected.
WiFi throughout the cottage is provided free of charge.
